My Story
I’m so glad you found me here. From my experience, I believe that life prepares us for the paths we are meant to take. I have had a diverse range of experiences, both difficult and beautiful, that have shaped who I am today.
Throughout my life, I have been deeply fascinated by the natural world, and have been attuned to the sensations in my body. As a child I struggled with digestive issues that led me to explore different forms of healing, including conventional medicine to traditional healing practices like going to curanderas and spirituality. This ignited my passion for holistic health and wellness that would continue to grow over the years.
Over the last 15 years, I have dedicated myself to the field of holistic health. And recently began to integrate coaching into my practice.
I am passionate about bringing you into direct alignment with what your soul desires. If you are being called to do something it is because it is meant for you.
The universe is ready, let’s get you ready to live your most magical life.
Let me tell you a little bit about how I decided to integrate coaching into my healing practice.
My Journey
Up until a few years ago I appeared to have everything I had ever wanted- a successful career and a growing family. However despite all of this, I had ignored my inner world. Or rather, I had never given myself the time to get to know who I was and what I wanted. What I was doing was correcting my childhood. I had for so long been living out the desires that were created in my childhood, that I had no idea who I truly was and what I really wanted in life. Even when that voice appeared, I ignored it, as there were so many parts of me that didn’t believe it was possible.
Unfortunately, this caused my health to deteriorate, leaving me lethargic, having more and more food intolerances, low energy, and poor sleep. My body was trying to communicate with me in a way I couldn’t ignore any longer.
Working with a coach helped me to uncover my emotions, patters and triggers. I learned about my conditioning and childhood coping mechanisms that had been shaping my life. As I began to trust myself, fear, shame and blame began to loosen their grip on me. I began to listen and live my life according to my authentic needs, experiencing joy, purpose and peace more often.
This experience allowed me to trust myself and listen to my inner voice. Everyone’s journey is unique, and your’s will likely look different than mine, but I promise that if you begin to embark on this journey of self-discovery you will gain access to to your own inner resources, creativity and spark.
My journey is ongoing and I’m grateful for each day that brings a new level of awareness, strength, and stillness. This is just a part of the story, let’s enjoy all that is now and that which is waiting to unfold.
More about me- the important stuff
I’m a mom to a 11 year old girl and love it. She reminds me to slow down and have fun.
What do I do in my spare time? I absolutely love to research health and wellness. It just lights me up.
Where will you find me, when I’m not working? Hiking- being in nature is necessary for me, it’s my quite, reset time.
The kitchen is my favorite place to be when I’m home. I love to cook and bake. I spend a lot of time on food blogs. I just can’t get enough of pictures of food. Eating seasonal, organic local foods brings me an enormous amount of joy.
My experience
I graduated with a BA in Art and Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC, and later received my Master’s from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, CA. My path has been shaped by diverse experiences: working in private practice and community clinics across the Bay Area, becoming an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor through The Vedic Institute, and receiving advanced coaching training from Aletheia Coaching. I also volunteered at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic in Oakland, serving low-income women with cancer, and trained in Enneagram work through the Enneagram Prison Project.
