Amanda Quvus ~ mind body coach
My Story
Thank you for being here. From my own experience, I’ve come to believe that the most challenging parts of our lives are often what prepare us for the path we’re meant to walk.
My own journey was deeply shaped by a childhood struggle with chronic digestive issues. It led me on a quest for healing that went beyond a doctor’s office, exploring everything from modern medicine to the wisdom of traditional curanderas and a renewed sense of spirituality. This journey taught me to listen to my body and the earth, and it ignited a passion for holistic health that has guided my life’s work for the past 15 years.
I’ve learned that true healing isn’t just about the body; it’s about aligning with our purpose. That’s why I began to integrate coaching into my practice. My purpose is to help you hear that inner voice that calls you forward. Because when you feel a pull toward something, it’s not a coincidence—it’s your soul’s greatest desire.
Let’s answer that call and begin to live the magical life that is waiting for you.
My Journey
For a long time, I was living a life that was exactly what I thought I was “supposed” to do. I got married, had a baby, and built a career—checking all the boxes on a list I never even knew I had. But while I was living this life on the outside, I was completely disconnected from my inner world.
I didn’t realize that I was still trying to fulfill desires created in my childhood. I was so busy correcting the past that I didn’t have any idea who I truly was or what I genuinely wanted. Even when my authentic voice would whisper to me, I ignored it because a part of me didn’t believe I deserved more.
This disconnection eventually manifested physically. My health began to deteriorate, leaving me with constant fatigue, poor sleep, and a growing list of food intolerances. My body was sending me a message I could no longer ignore.
Working with a coach helped me uncover the subconscious patterns and childhood coping mechanisms that had been driving my life. As I began to trust myself, the grip of fear, shame, and blame loosened. I started to live from a place of authenticity, experiencing joy, purpose, and peace more often.
This experience is the foundation of my coaching practice. Your journey will be unique, but I promise that when you begin this work of self-discovery, you will gain access to your own inner resources and creative spark. My journey is ongoing, and I’m grateful for the awareness and strength each day brings.

More about me- the important stuff
I have a daughter that constantly reminds me to slow down and have more fun. She helps me stay present—especially on the days when life moves too fast.
In my spare time? I’m that person who’s always falling down rabbit holes of health and wellness research—for me, it’s like a treasure hunt. I genuinely love learning how the body works, how the mind thinks, and how small daily choices can lead to big shifts over time.
This curiosity is what fuels my coaching. I bring what I learn into every session—translating science and wisdom into grounded, practical support that helps you feel more like you again.
When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me hiking. Nature is my quiet reset button—a place to breathe, think, and reconnect.
At home, the kitchen is my happy place. I love cooking and baking, and I spend way too much time on food blogs. There’s something so grounding about preparing meals with seasonal, local, organic ingredients. It brings me real joy.
My experience
I graduated with a BA in Art and Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC, and later received my Master’s from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, CA. My path has been shaped by diverse experiences: working in private practice and community clinics across the Bay Area, becoming an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor through The Vedic Institute, and receiving advanced coaching training from Aletheia Coaching. I also volunteered at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic in Oakland, serving low-income women with cancer, and trained in Enneagram work through the Enneagram Prison Project.
